Goodin Bill Advocating Moment Of Silence Pledge In School Passed

INDIANAPOLIS Senate Bill 332, legislation co-sponsored by State Rep. Terry Goodin (DCrothersville)that would require a daily opportunity for a student to voluntarily say the Pledge of Allegiance and observe a moment of silence in each public school classroom in Indiana passed out of the
House of Representatives by a vote of 86 - 6 on Monday.

“I am very proud that the House saw the importance of this legislation and overwhelmingly voted for its approval,” said Goodin.A student can choose not to participate in either the pledge or the moment of silence. The bill also states that each classroom must have a United States flag on display.

“This bill gives us the opportunity to teach our children the values of the community in which they live,” said Goodin. “Schools are not only about educating our children for the workforce, but about educating our children for the future lives they will lead. A good, productive life is built on a strong base
of morals and values.” Senate Bill 332 will now go to the governor for final approval.

Probate Transfers Legal Title Of Property
Probate is the means by which legal title of property transfers from the estate of the person who has died, to his or her proper beneficiaries. The term "probate" refers to proving the existence of a valid Will, or determining and proving who one's legal beneficiaries are if there is no Will. Since you can't take it with you, probate is the process used to determine who gets your property.
